Please try again later.I HAD THE SAME SITUATION, HAVING THE BLACK SCREEN, ON TOSHIBA SATELLITE LAPTOP, AND CHANGED SOME NEW PARTS, BUT DID NOT WORK, AND GAVE UP, AND PURCHASED A NEW MACBOOK. I AM HAPPY WITH MAC. FIRST, OPEN THE LCD SCREEN, AND CHECK IF THE CODE ATTACHED WITH THE HOOK ON THE BACK OF THE LCD SCREEN OPENED IS TIGHTEN WITH THE OTHER CONNECTOR. IF SO, BUT IT'S STILL BLACK SCREEN, GO TO THE NEXT STEP. SEE THERE ARE A LOT OF CHECK POINTS IF YOU ADDRESS THIS PROBLEMS OVER INTERNET.
