The unit does have good WiFi coverage, I have a 3200 ranch and I have deployed with mesh nodes, without the signals do get weak at the edges

The shape, construction materials, number of levels, other sources of wifi interference and the apps you expect to use play an equally important factor in the ultimate answer. Without knowing these, no one can give you an honest, reliable answer, It for this reason that WAPs (wireless access and points) and mesh Routers were invented. This way, you can add additional components to provide adequate signal strength across the home....m
