“I have an ASUS RT-AC3100 and the 5 GHz bands died not long after purchase. I have read many reviews stating the 5 GHz has almost identical problems, is this true? Does the 5 GHz stop working or have disconnect issues?”

• Have not experienced with any of my 3 ASUS units including the ax11000

• I don't have any disconnect issue on 5GHz. You need need to make sure both 5GHz have different name and also your device support 5Ghz band. Some of old device doesn't support it.
