“I've looked online and everywhere and best buy is the only provider for this model. Also this model has similar or better specs than the scar. I'm confused on why it's cheaper than the scar. Also there are no reviews on YouTube for this model. Why?”

I just recently purchased this exact model from best buy and i was wondering the same thing. When i got it everything that it advertises is legit and worth the price in every aspect. The only thing different is the 4080 instead of 4090. Amazing rig and highly recommend.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm pretty sure the Scar models are their highest end line of laptops and the ROG Striz is the model line under, hence why it is more expensive. I have actually purchased this Strix 18 open box to save a little and so far my experience has been awesome. As to why best buy is the only place to buy this model I am not sure. Originally I was looking at the 2023 version which led me to this 2024 version for the latest chipset.
