I bought the as a gift. The Bios was set to accept the 3600. It was the first Bios version for that processor. There were about 5 updates since the factory flash.. It's pretty easy to flash this board. Download the latest Bios to a thumb drive, from the bios go to EZ flash, choose the csv file from the thumb drive and let install go.. It will reboot. That's it..
But you can use the 3600 out of the box as is. There may be a Bios update via a Asus windows program which may be less intimidating.

Shouldn't be have a problem, I just built a computer for my little bro using this from best buy and used a ryzen 3 3200g and it worked out of the box
