“Can you tell me if this motherboard is “amd ryzen 5000x desktop ready” should state it on the box. That will tell me if it should need a BIOS filmware update or not”

Yes, this motherboard is AMD Ryzen 5000 ready. This motherboard also has the USB BIOS Flashback feature which allows you to update the BIOS without a CPU.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t have the box but It should be fine. It didnt say anything on Best Buy’s spec list, but I’m running a 5900x on it and it works fine. I didn’t have to do anything special in bios.
