This is the 2021 model.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The answer by Asus that this is the 2021 model is correct in spirit. In the sense that this is last year's technology, as you can see by the use of a 5000 series CPU instead of a 6000 series CPU, and the use of PCIe Gen 3 (in particular for the M.2 SSD drive that is Gen 3). In contrast to that, Best Buy's notes in the Specifications say it is a 2022 model. That is either just wrong, or maybe it is technically correct (cuz, say, it came out in January of 2022) - but perhaps this is just a straggler sub-model configuration of the 2021 series of modes, that (perhaps thanks to supply chain delays) didn't really make it to market until early 2022. I suspect the latter might be the case, as that would explain why it's got clearance pricing so early in this model's life cycle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is 2021 model. If you see model number, it is 401QM . 401 series is 2021 models 402 is 2022 ones
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine says date 7/2022 on the bottom. But, as one mentioned, this is a 5800 not 5900 or 6series cpu. With PCIE3 M.2 and still 1080.. and not straight space bar (has the notch). I am very confused on this model. You see, the website of asus 401QM refer to 5900 CPU.. not 5800 cpu. This laptop also has 3060. It is hard to determin what history this laptop is, with 7/2022 date but not 5900 cpu. On the focus of what it IS, this laptop runs very nicely. It works and it is nice. If you think this not being 5900 or newer, and are confused.. It is understood. But it still works very nicely. Keys are only white as well. Very nice keyboard, sound.. performance.
