I believe its an updated MediaTek model, but dont quote me on this one. However, I did have the 2023 model and experienced terrible wifi issues with that one as well. I have had zero issues in the week using the 2024 model yet.

Please try again later.It looks like the 2024 models have WiFi 6e so perhaps more bandwidth available than in 2023, but you might need to upgrade your router to WiFi 6e to take advantage. I’m not an Asus shill, but note Asus does make good WiFi 6e routers. Last resort, Linus Tech Tips says you could later updrade to Intel WiFi (or have Geek Squad do it, I guess, cuz laptop WiFi 6e not soldered).
