I can't say 100% since I haven't opened mine up, but from what I've read elsewhere, yes, there's an additional SSD slot that would allow this. If you plan on being on battery a lot, be aware of the extra power draw of running two SSDs and running a super fast SSD like the 990 Pro. Toms Hardware has a good article on SSDs with a table showing the power draw and performance of most current SSD models.
