• The laptop is compatible with unbuffered, non-ECC DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM.

• You can install 1 additional stick of DDR5 RAM. It does come with a soldered 8GB on the motherboard and another 8GB in the one available DIMM slot. You could change that out for the biggest DDR5 they make which is a 32GB stick for a total 40GB of RAM. That is the most the laptop can do since it only has the one available slot to work with.
