“I was told by some college kids that these things put out as much if not more radiation than a microwave. They told me to make sure I get one that plugs directly into the wall and not use a transformer as it wont be grounded. Does this model put out?”

All routers, or wireless devices, emit or radiate minimal level of microwave signal that is not detrimental to our health.
