“This past weekend I built my first PC and was able to FINALLY hook up this monitor to my system. Once in the settings of the monitor it reads 60Hz and while in Radeon Tech it reads 60Hz as well. Is this really a 144Hz monitor? My model # is VG249 on box.”

• You need to right click on the desktop background and go into display settings > select ASUS VG249 > Display adapter properties > > monitor > Select refresh rate > click 144hz > apply > ok.
