Good option
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed.Good monitor with a reasonable number of port options and display options adjusted directly though the screen buttons. The base allows for height, rotation and tilt adjustment so you can adjust until you find the right orientation for you.

Great Monitor for Nintendo Switch!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I was looking to replace my old TV I had as a kid. I mostly play on my Nintendo switch so I didn't want to break the bank for 4k resolution. Picture quality and response times are fantastic. It also has built in speakers which a lot of monitors seem to not have and they sound ok. There also settings where you can adjust the brightness and it comes in handy when you want to use the blue light filter when it's dark. There are also different features, but I don't use them because the switch games I play don't really cooperate with them. Oh yeah, and the building process where you have to connect the monitor to the stand is fairly easy. It's been standing firmly on my drawer lol

Love this monitor!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I absolutely love this monitor!!!! I got this to connect to my laptop via an HDMI so I can play PC games on a larger screen. It has internal speakers that are decent and has an aux input if you want to add external speakers which is great. I’m also a university student so having a larger screen helps when using multiple windows all at once. The only negative thing was that the stand it comes with took up a lot of space on my desk so I switched it out for a vesa monitor arm I found online.

Primary monitor
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I wanted a monitor with an adjustable height and this one does. It is a surprisingly smooth adjustment. The built in speakers aren’t the worst, they’re pretty decent if you need them. I hate the red accent, but that’s the worst of it.

Could just be my bad luck but...
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. So I chose to buy 2 of these monitors during the BlackFriday sale they were $170 each which is a steal! So I bought one but the second one I bought had a small stuck pixel (I knew it was not dead because it was stuck on a bright purple) so I tried to bring it back with a couple of the tests but still didn’t work so I returned it and had a new one shipped to me and that one had a defect in it aswell and as crazy as it is to say there was fuzz between the panel that I could see and it was bigger than the dead pixel from the first one so I ended up taking it back AGAIN and received another one that ended up being fully working other than that issue I’ve LOVED these monitors for the deal I’ll also include a link here for a video all about programming the colors and getting it just right! Definitely recommend watching this video before or when you get this monitor https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwyQO3FuQqw&ab_channel=techless

So far it’s amazing!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I was skeptical to buy this because I couldn’t confirm that it would run 120hz on the Xbox one x. Well I took a chance and I’m glad I did! This monitor runs 1080p @120hz on my one x perfectly! I couldn’t be happier.

High School Teacher Taking it to the NEXT LEVEL
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. The monitor works great. It easily adapted to my previous 3 monitor-setup. As a full-time high school teacher, college professor, software engineer part-time, and a Ph.D. candidate Student, I needed a 4th monitor to promptly answer questions posted through Zoom or Google Meets Video Conferences. It allows me to remain organized and on top of projects, lesson plans, and current in responding to my students at every level (during school and after school). This encourages my students to remain engaged. Having that 4th screen built to be positioned at a 90-degree angle, I can see my numerous lines of custom code while I am evaluating code from my other colleagues.

Q: QuestionOn Best buy website it states LED monitor. however after I purchased it, the monitor is actually LCD. why the discrepancy?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer From what I understand, IPS (along with VA and TN) is a type of "panel technology" that falls under the LCD spectrum. The LED portion of the monitor is the "backlight technology". So, you can have an LCD monitor which comes with IPS panel technology and LED backlight.

Q: QuestionThis past weekend I built my first PC and was able to FINALLY hook up this monitor to my system. Once in the settings of the monitor it reads 60Hz and while in Radeon Tech it reads 60Hz as well. Is this really a 144Hz monitor? My model # is VG249 on box.

- A:Answer Please verify that you are using a DisplayPort cable and have enabled 144Hz as the desired refresh rate in Windows. If you continue having issues, please reach out to ASUS Support either by phone, chat, or email. https://www.asus.com/support/
