ROG Ally and Steam Compatible! Plus PS4 and PS5!
I basically use my viewsonic as a monitor for my ROG Ally and Steam Deck. It works good for both (ROG Ally a lot better). I use it along with a keyboard and mouse to add mods or occasionally play games connecting my handhelds to it. This is a great a monitor, a bit pricey but worth it. Before I first bought the monitor I wanted to read at least one review before purchasing, that said it works for handheld consoles. Well Deck heads and ROG Ally owners now you know, this monitor is compatible with both. When you connect to the monitor, you won’t regret it. It’s everything you hoped for as far as the vibrant colors and rich dark blacks. Also for even better results when you connect your PS4 and PS5 to the monitor. I haven’t tried to connect with my XBox One or Series X yet but I’m sure the results will be the same. Get this portable monitor and enjoy!

It is definitely a nice monitor for On the go use
So i was in the market for a larger size monitor that i can see better from when recording videos outdoors or out of my home environment and this pretty much did the trick. I have it paired with a smaller and more flexible Full size HDMI to micro HDMI cable that i got online and its wired wirelessly to a Accsoon Cineview HE wireless HDMI transmitters from my Sony Alpha A7IV to the Viewsonic 16 inch colo pro oled display. Though it is not mentioned in the website or even here on bestbuy.com i am powering the monitor with a 12 Amp hour Anker battery also bought here on bestbuy. Via USB C to USB C anker cable. The reason im giving this a 4 star out of 5 is because the little Adapter that was included to mount to a 1/4" threaded mount leaves a gap of about 1/2" away from the monitor vs having a 1/4" threaded screw hole built into the display which would help with better stability while mounted on a seperate tripod. I feel like i can easily break the mounting point using this outdoors and it defines scares me as this monitor wasnt cheap and almost priced the same as my Atomos Shinobi 5.2 monitor which this Viewsonic has replaced. I do like the included screen sleeve protector combo which when folded a certain way acts as a monitor hood to reduce some sun light reducing the monitor brightness. For ourdoor use or going to record some video footage for a client, i think this is great but if you have a small home studio set up i think using a larger stand alone monitor which in my case is a 43 inch samsung 4K tv, i believe this is the way to go. I am indeed very happy with my purchase and dont regret buying it, i just wish they would make something that has a better mount for stability that can sit right on top of the mount like the Ari mounts i have that has 2 pins for a locking mechanism and the 1/4" screw in the middle. I would buy again if this ever gets damaged on a site.
