I just ordered this monitor, but I’m a bit worried about the brightness. Is 250 enough? I use in a decently lit room but I use blinds to keep out the sun. Would I have been better off to wait until the VG259 is restocked since that has 400? null

I got a bit excited seeing your question because this is exactly the question and same alternative monitor I would've mentioned. BOth are 250$ but the 25 does in fact get brighter and not a deal breaker but the design on the back of the monitor looks cool.

With blinds, you should not have an issue. You can also adjust brightness manually via the monitor's on-screen display.
