Yes, it is. All you have to do is unscrew the bottom of it. Note that the extra SSD and extra RAM slot may be covered by some tape.

Please try again later.It is not too hard to open- just be careful not to zap any of the internal components- I suggest an anti-static mat or wrist strap -just make sure you're grounded. If you download the Asus service guide and maintenance PDF file it shows you exactly how to remove the cover - it's held in place by ten (Phillips hd)screws. You need a pry tool of some sort to carefully separate the bottom of the case from the upper part. I upgraded mine with a 2 tb Hynix ssd & 1tb WD SSD (3tb total) as well as replacing the 8Gb single memory module w/ a Kingston Fury 16gb memory kit (which btw was the only memory I could get to run at the default speed a 3200mhz)(KF4325201BK2/16). The Asus laptop actually comes with their software ("MyAsus")which allows you to download the service manual directly from within the software - no having to hunt it down on the website).
