I don't know what OS you are running on but works fine in Windows 10 without needing anything special.

I know i don't have "permissions" to install drivers on the work machine i was using it for so i researched looking for Plug N Play, this is how the write-up described it. So i plugged it into the USB port and the machine saw it right away, but unfortunately I still couldn't get behind the VPN for other reasons. So i decided to see if it would give my personal laptop a boost, plugged it an, and voila - it was right there under my network adaptors. I switched and saw similar speeds as the on-board WiFi adaptor, i tried it attached to both my 3Mbps DSL and 10 Mbps MiFi hot spot. I do get a bit of a signal boost when hooked up to the MiFi on another floor, but since my internet itself is fairly slow, i can't advise as to comparative speeds.
