“I just bought a AC1200 USB-AC Nano Wi-Fi Adapter and they said at the store I could plug it into my Shaw Direct receiver. There is nothing in the package to help with this and I do not want to damage it. I have a Wi-Fi booster for at the terminal.”

• I had geek squad install the software so there be no mistakes, guess what, My computer was 5 ft away from a wifi repeater and it sucked, it’s junk take it back

• The product did not work ad the Sales Rep indicated and Best Buy indicated I am no longer able to return any defective product, or any product at all for 1 year. Poor customer service and they have lost at least 1 customer.

• This has to be plug into a USB of a computer.

• Does your reciever have a usb port? If so check to label. If its going to work you will likely need to change the source to aux. Or configure the port. Check you reciever manual. There are a bunch of variables here. So its pretty hard to say yes or no
