• Yes, I believe so as long as you have an HDMI port on your Dell. I bought it with that purpose in mind for my HP laptop. It is a very nice screen.

• The bestbuy tech support could probably guve you a more definite answer given your model (they helped me, using the chat feature) but I am usung it with my personal laptop ( hp pavillion) and my older work laptop ( not sure of the brand, might even be dell) and works great with both, one using hdmi, the other using vga. I really like the very adjustable screen height and angke, and the heavy base on the stand makes it more stable. Good luck, I think you will love it too.
