• no, this laptop does not have a 2.5ssd/hdd connector. only can replace the 128gb nvme drive and add 1 additional sodimm stick of ram.

• Bourbon is correct. Just to add: (1) how "trivial" (or not) it would be to perform upgrades is a matter of opinion, skills, and experience. One man's ceiling is another man's floor. I suggest you seek out videos on YouTube that show the process in detail, and you can judge for yourself. (2) You don't have to reinstall Windows. Clone the drive, then make the exchange, and you are all set.
