• it is switching to either 60hz or 120hz, completely normal but i wish it was seamless

• Check the myAsus app, if you have enabled it to automatically switch the refresh rate, then that WILL happen. If you dont want it to be an issue, you can turn that feature off. Check out the MyAsus app for all the other stuff you can do as well
