Is it big compared to a 14" laptop? null

I'm not quite sure what you are asking, but maybe this will help. The screen size is measured diagonally, that is 14.5 inches. The actual Zenbook footprint is 8.9 inches x 12.7 inches, so not really that big depending on what you are measuring as 14 inches.

Yes, it's bigger but not much at all. I bought one for my son to use it in school and he likes it a lot.

A half an inch isn't a lot but, it depends on what screen ratio your coming from. I write code on mine and have no issue with screen size. it definitely feels big enough. The fact that it is OLED and has a high resolution definitely helps.
