Yes, It works. You do not need to use an app from Microsoft store. More over, the software included worked perfect. You do not need to use any other application. It work perfect, is a good product to make cd or Dvd. I am Pleased with it.

However, the included applications (Nero, CyberLink, PowerBackup, and E‑Green) are not compatible with S Mode, since it only supports apps from the Microsoft Store. If you’d like to use features such as disc burning or backup, you would need to switch out of S Mode.
