“Does this phone have line Privacy, meaning that if I have one plugged into my bedroom another one in my dining room and someone is using line one the other base could not pick up line one? Also does it work as an intercom from one station to the other?”

They do not do either. These units are just sharing dial tone in parallel. No interconnected data shared between them.
