“My new ML17929 doesn't allow me to see what line is being used from another phone within the office. When my boss picks up her phone to make a call on either line 1 or 2 I can't tell what line she's on and I've not been able to figure out what's wrong.”

I have the same problem. Can someone tell me how to make it light up when someone is on the line.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The red light in the "Line 1" or "Line 2" keys immediately below the display screen should light up when that line is in use. If they don't, something is wrong somewhere. Do you have bright, direct lighting at your desk? That does make it difficult to see these lights. If you try putting your hand over these keys, and asking someone else to pick up another phone, you may see the light and at least know if it works.
