• Yes. Base ringer may be muted without affecting answering function.

• Press the menu button and then scroll down until you get to Ringers then press menu. You should then be at the Ringer volume which lets you lower the volume all the way to off. I don't know if by turning the volume off it affects the message machine as our voice mail is through our phone provider.

• You can Mute or turn down the phone's ringer.

• Click the menu button, hit the down button 4 times, hit menu again, then again then turn the ringing off.

• I don't believe so. I suggest lowering the ringer all the way to silent.
