A:AnswerAt our school US paragliding we only get 2 bars but we are able to watch full 4 k with Vudu and netflix through our Sony PS4 and play on line games however every now an then there is lag. BUT when we take it to places were we get 5g or 4 bars no lag. But it is the best we have found for unlimited internet with OTRmobile or what the truckers use. I would definite recommend. also if using with plug pull battery to keep heat down and not to ruin your battery.
A:AnswerBy design this is a very capable device. It will handle 1 Gbps Download and 150 Mbps upload. Having said that, so much depends on your unique environment. Where are you in relation to the cell towers; How many devices share those towers; What account you have with your provider.
Try downloading one of the speed test apps to your cell phone and see if it gives you acceptable numbers.
A:AnswerYep! That's exactly why we bought it too! We have multiple tvs, tablets, phones, weather stations, etc connected and can stream on multiple devices at once. Of course, it also depends on the data plan you buy. We have ATT unlimited LTE.
A:AnswerI do not think so. It is a modem by itself and takes a sims cards itself so it is just like a phone that has a hot spot built in but you cannot make a call on it. It even has a number assigned to it from the carrier you choose. My carrier is ATT and it works great on wifi and the Ethernet cord.
A:AnswerThis is not a reasonable question to ask. The issue here is with how strong the cellular connection will be and that is determined by way more factors then can be assumed from your question.
If I were to give you some guidelines to your question then I would say with the internal antennas this unit has, you could possibly be about a mile to a mile and a half out at sea and have adequate signal strength IF the tower(s) are locates very close to the shore. Keep in mind this device is Cellular connected and requires linking back to the terrestrial cellular service back on land.

A:AnswerI believe it is locked with at&t because they offer you the option to also get at&t service but Amazon sells unlocked nighthawk m1 mr1100 but for $100 more.
A:AnswerYou would have to sign up for a service that provides a static IP address from AT&T, but yes you can configure a static IP on both the WAN (LTE) side and LAN side.
