Does this turntable have a built in preamp? null

Yes. You can also bypass it if needed

It does have a built in Pre-amp

Not sure if it has an amplifier or not. But if you use the phono RCA jack you set the switch on the back of the turntable to phono. If you use an auxiliary RCA jack you would set the switch to line.
