• The speakers control the volume. I bought a simple set of Logitech speakers with a woofer for $60 at Best Buy and the sound is outstanding.

• Our turntables do not have volume controls on them. Use the Volume control on the device the turntable is going to be connected to (the stereo amplifier or receiver, powered speaker system, or computer).
