Why is it so.noisy? Is the belt drive always like that? null

Shouldn't be. Did you attach the table to the spindle on the side correctly? If noise continues, I'd bring it back.

It shouldn't be noisy at all, do you by chance have the belt routed around the white post on the right side of the turntable (at about the 2 o'clock position)? It does not go around this post.
