If the phono section on your Pioneer unit works with MAGNETIC type phono catridges, you can connect the turntable to the PHONO input on it. If it does not, you can use the phono preamplifier built into the turntable (set the preamp selector switch located on the rear of the turntable to the LINE position) and connect the turntable to any line level input on the unit. Basically, you would connect the turntable to any input OTHER THAN the PHONO input, such as an AUX or TUNER input.
