Make certain that the switch next to the jack is set to the LINE position for this test. You may leave the switch set to line for wireless (Bluetooth) use. Do you hear the record playing in the headphones? If you do, the turntable is ok. If you do not, remove then reinstall the stylus (assembly) as if you were replacing a worn stylus with s new stylus. The stylus may have become loose from the cartridge when you removed the clear plastic guard from it during assembly of the turntable. Refer to page 10 of the User Manual below for assistance removing and (re)installing the stylus assembly. https://www.audio-technica.com/media/wysiwyg/product/pdfs/us/at_lp60xbt_um_162501372_v2_en_web_190527.pdf
