This turntable has a line out and phono out option. I use the line out with red and white composite cords (included with the turntable), and plug it into the body of a very basic media player system that I have. If you have any speaker system with red & white composite input, you can use this turntable without any additional accessories needed.

If the receiver is an older one it may have a PHONO input and you can use that. If it is a newer receiver you can use a regular LINE in connection. This turntable will work in any of these situations because there is a switch on the back for PHONO or LINE. I use this turntable for both and it works well with either one.

Make certain that the turntables internal phono preamplifier is turned on when using the turntable with powered speakers. That is, the preamp selector switch on the rear of the turntable should be placed in the LINE position.

You have purchased a high quality turntable, that is capable of very fine tone and sound definition. Determine the wattage capabilities of your tuner as well as the size of your room. Equipped with that information, rely on some assistance of a Magnolia R Room sound expert. Enjoy the ride. You and you music will be friends for a long time to come.
