• No. You would need to run this turntable through an amp and connect the speakers to the amp. Think of this as a component.

• Only if they are self-powered (also known as active) type speakers. Other wise, you would connect the turntable to inputs on a stereo amplifier or receiver and connect the (passive) speakers to the outputs on that amplifier or receiver.
