“I followed on instruction on video for setting tone arm and tracking and anti-skid. I set needle on edge of LP and it falls off LP. I set to 2nd song and plays OK. How do I set up to where needle will play the first song without falling off LP?”

Hopefully you figured this out but if not you are dropping the stylus too close to the edge. There is significant space between the edge and the first groove to place the stylus in.

The confusion with the instructions when turning the counterweight counter clockwise it is based on turning it from the front side of turntable. I originally turned it based on the backside of the turntable which threw the weight completely off.

I repeated the step on getting the arm balanced horizontally w/o the needle protector. Then the video said to turn the weight from 0 to 2 and also put anti skate to 2. That fixed me right up.
