Please check that the protective cap has been removed from the tip of the plug prior to use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The first thing that comes to mind is Did you remember to take the plastic cap off the end before inserting it into your TV? I’ve come close to doing that about 6-7 times. That’s the only reason I can think of why you’re not getting the cable to stay.

Once I saw these answers, I got the cable, and checked the ends for the protector caps - sure enough they were still on the cable, so will try it tomorrow WITHOUT the caps:)
