• There is some assembly but not that hard. Aventon has good videos to help and they include tools with the bike.

• I wouldn't pay someone to do it. It's easy to assemble. Most of it is already together. Another person to help you would be ideal. Took me about 20 minutes but I'm a fixit guy.
