No this wire is strictly for audio from your phone to the headphones

Yes you can use this cord/headphones with any device. The cord does not charge the headphones.

The RemoteTalk Control cable connects to your device. The USB charging cable is used for charging your headphones. Yes, this cable can be used in a phone for audio.  Unfortunately, I am unable to answer your question regarding charging.
