• The earbuds themselves are magnetic, so when you drop them out of your hears, they "sick" together while they dangle. That function also pauses your music. Cool feature!! Sound quality is AMAZING in my opinion. Great for phone calls too!

• the magnet is in the actual ear bud itself. when not in use left hanging they will click together
