I wouldn’t really recommend spending that much on a kid. What you could do is get him Powerbeats 3, or even the wired version of these. Or even getting him a cheaper pair of headphones first just to see how he takes care of them. And then for his birthday or something get him a main brand product such as these.

Of course just activate the pairing mode in the headphones and activate the blueboth of the ipad and connect them

I would think so - I can connect via bluetooth to my computer, my ipad, & my iphone
