“If I wanted to sleep with these would they automatically shut off if I set a "stop playing" timer or would they just drain battery every night?”

• The battery will not drain nightly. I'd expect 2-3 nights without a recharge.

• they do turn off if they are not being chared i do not recommend you sleep with them on . you could damage them or possibly overheat right in your ears they are more for adaily use not for sleeping . go to dre beat website and consult with a tech or chat with a geek squad rep and see if you could use them while your sleeping .

• They will just die if you dont shut off. Plus, I couldnt imagine sleeping with them since they are not too comfy

• You have to manually turn them off. There is no auto off feature. If you are going to wear them to sleep why not use corded headphones?
