• Yes they should connect to your android and yes they have updated microphone so you can take good quality calls

• Yes. I have a Motorola phone and they work perfectly with the beats app. I also run a piece of heavy equipment that is rather noisy and I can carry on phone conversations with the beats Studio+. Great choice. Battery life is outstanding.
