This happen to me and I had to return them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Doesnt need to be on you, but I doubt it would work that far apart. I would say take the phone upstairs and put it 30 feet from you and you are fine. I use smart gym, so phone stays with me anyway.
