• The Otterbox Defender for the iPhone 12 max is 2.2mm thick. Since this is < the 3mm required, it will work.

• I have an iPhone 12 Pro with an Otterbox Defender case and it works just fine. I also use it with my Apple Watch and AirPods Pro and haven’t had any issues.

• I have otter box defender with rubber protector and belt clip. Only sticks to mag if you take the rubber protector off.

• Hi, Bill. The Belkin WIZ001 3-in-1 Wireless Charger is compatible with the iPhone 12 Pro Max but, it is only compatible with most lightweight cases up to 3mm in thickness.

• Check the case’s description and information. It should tell you if it is compatible with wireless chargers. If it says yes, then you shouldn’t have an issue. I have a 12 Pro Max with an Otterbox Symmetry case and do not have any issues.
