• The mount itself doesn't charge the phone for you. However, it allows for you to "discreetly" loop you charging cable around the back between the dark grey clip for the vent and the holder itself. See photos from Best Buy below.

• Hi, Nick. The Belkin WIC002 does not charge your phone wirelessly. If you wish to charge your phone while using the Belkin WIC002, you will need to use a Lightning cable and charger.
