“How does steaming in a countertop steamer differ from traditional steaming over a stovetop or in an Instant Pot/pressure cooker?”

• Probably not too much of a difference. What makes this a great buy is that it frees up other appliances, now I dont have to put everything in the counter convection oven, and have my two induction 'burners' free for a sauté, and a deep-fry, and the convection counter top does the heavy lifting.

• Hello, Thank you for reaching out Cooking in a countertop steamer and traditional steaming is essentially the same, the countertop steamer provides the convenience. Pressure cooker cooks with high pressure water vapors at higher temperatures. Thank You BELLA Customer Service
