I reheat EVERYTHING, have not encountered any problems whatsoever, warning: steam is very very hot, be careful, it’s lasted me since last year, I use it everyday, the top is beginning to look a bit milky but hey, it’s worth it to me, I also discovered if you clean the inside with a little vinegar it keeps it looking new, just wipe it out, DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER

Not sure on brisket, should keep it moist and keep flavor. Works great, never had a steamer before, can't compare with others. I like it.
