• It does not have a temperature dial, and cannot be adjusted, so you are at the mercy of whatever internal thermostat this waffle iron has. It takes forever to get a waffle that is crispy on the outside. So depending upon how you like your waffles, it can take between 4 and 12 minutes for a single waffle. The less time, the soggier your waffle.

• No, it stays heated and there is no temperature guage, but I will say pay attention while cooking and set timer to your liking!! They come out great!! No reason to spend more on just a waffle maker!!
