Think of it more as cooking in a convection oven more then really baking. French fries to me taste so much better in this because you get more of the fry flavor rather then the flavor of the oil, plus cleanup is so much easier. I really love how easy everything is to "fry" and how I can switch right from making donuts to making something more savory with no need to do much more then just wipe out the inside.
