“Is the blade made to come out for cleaning? I can't seem to unscrew the blade from the pitcher. Or is the entire pitcher dishwasher safe? Any instructions on this would be helpful. Thanks.”

Its dishwasher safe, Blade stays in!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The blade does not come out. It is easy to clean in place by adding a few drops of dishwashing soap and a cup or so of water and running the blender. I presume you can also put it in your dishwasher if it will fit! I don’t know why the manufacturer answered this question by saying it is not dishwasher safe. The packaging clearly claims that the pitcher and other plastic parts are dishwasher safe.
